the Brera will be offered here in the states with the rest of the Alfa lineup. the Tata Nano will also be offered here next year.

and the silver car is an Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220. it is though, on the same chassis as the Lotus Elise. but that's all it has in relation to the Elise.

the Focus RS we will be getting when the 3rd generation global Focus is released. also, the idea of the G8 being rebadged as a Chevy Lumina is still up in the air even though Bob Lutz said it will never happen. we'll see once GM gets out of the semi-large whole they're in right now.

Lotus?

Also, I caught a Lumina SS on film a few years ago. GM even contacted me over it.

EDIT: God damn I hate streetfire. I love how they put a watermark and a big 30 second commercial that has nothing to do with cars in my video. Its on autoblog too, but it was easier to find on the suckfire.

One of the cars listed was the GTR Spec V. Won't we be getting that soon?

Dood, That car/color can be seen from the international space station. The green hurts my eyes. No head lights required.  Lips Sealed

The Opel Speedster is a Lotus Elise..it was build on the same prodcution lane... same chassie, suspension, brake, steering etc. only different, the plastic body bolt to the aluminium chassie was different designed and they used Opel engines the 2.2l n/a as entry level and the 2.0l Z20LET Turbo as perfromance engine... the interior is identical only different the Opel speedster has a steeringwheel with airbag the Elise not. It was significant cheaper than the Elise and the 200hp turbo Speedster was better performing than any Elise of the same production periode... but it was a seeling floop for Opel and Vauxhall, people prefered the orginal and bought the Elise. Pretty rare to see a Speedster on public roads in Germany, if I am lucky I see 2 or 3 in summertime each year.

BTW the Speedster was from 2000-2005 in prodcution.... you can“t buy them new ... no matter if Europe or USA

I don't think we will ever see the Focus RS. I know all of the hothatch fanboys drool and say "why don't they bring it here, I would get one right now." Well that sounds good, but mommy and daddy ain't shelling out that kind of cash. The fact is that it would cost about $40,000 here and the fanboys don't have that kind of money, and the guys that do have that kind of disposable income wouldn't spend 40 large on a Focus. I bet if that car was sold in the US, they couldn't sell 1000 of them a year and that is not good for business. It is all about moving product in large numbers.

RBB, Ford already confirmed that we will be getting it when the 3rd generation Focus is released here. that Focus will be a global Focus instead of having 2 VERY different cars in the US and Europe.

and Nagma, thanks for echoing what i just said. the suspension, brakes, and steering aren't Lotus. they were tuned by Lotus though.

I'll bet a years salary that you won't see a 300 hp Focus in the US. Bookmark this post, I guarantee it won't happen.
