Me and my father has quite a few pinball machines.
To be abit more exact, a little bit over 20.
Not the biggest if you look at the real nerds here in sweden  Cheesy

First off, our Demolition Man!
It's a Williams game. In perfect shape Smiley
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOaIKN2RMa0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOaIKN2RMa0</a>

Then we have Twilight Zone in perfect shape! Keep in mind, this is the white faced clock game, which is one of the first few hundreds in production!
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S56ltVB244g" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S56ltVB244g</a>

Then we have Street Fighter II. Not the best game but it's quite fun to spend some time on. It's now sold.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-dQHpgQhEY" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-dQHpgQhEY</a>

This was my very own first game. It's a Williams Pin Bot from 1986. One of the first games to have digitalized voice! I sold it for quite a good penny!
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vh04qZLBHr8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vh04qZLBHr8</a>

This is what I bought for the money I sold Pin Bot for. It's a 1990 Williams Diner! With 50's theme, checkered on the side art! One of the best games!
Unfortinetly I sold it to a guy who came, looked at it, started a game, plunged the ball out, flippered some and then just gave me the money I wanted for it!
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmB3Jyjx9S4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmB3Jyjx9S4</a>

And last video I have so far is on our Monte Carlo! Fun game but it's too much luck based.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGL8tD60pHM" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGL8tD60pHM</a>

That is the videos I have at the moment.
Can put up some pictures!
First with my Pin Bot. Man I miss that game. It had perfect side art, almost perfect shape on the playfield! But it was a trouble maker. Too advanced for it's time.

Then I have pics of my Diner!
What me and my father do is buying games that has broken down, and then we fix them up!
I shall demostrate what magic of polish can do!

When I bought it:

Working on it!

Time to do the magic of polish! Keep in mind, wax is NOT on the playfield on these pictures.

I had to put some color here and there on the playfield and then some clear over it. No big deal.
Here is the result! Too bad the glass is on during these pics, the white dots are just dust on the glass.

I have to say, wasnt fun posting these pics.
I miss my old Diner!  Cry

Oh well! that is it for now!

I loved playing pinball when I was a kid. One I remember most vividly but can't remember the name was in the early 80's. It had 2 levels. The center of the playing filed was glass like the top and there was another smaller field down inside the machine. The ball would drop through a tunnel and down into the field below and had buttons to work the flippers down there. You had to hit a certain target to get the ball to shoot back up onto the main table. That thing took some practice to get anywhere on.

Cheers LSixer!
We currently have 9 pinball games in our home, and just 1 on the videos are home ^^
So I have a few games I need to videotape ^^

And RBB: Perhaps it might be Black knight?

Or maybe Black Knight 2000?

http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=Black+Knight&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick#311

Could it be Swords of Fury?

Nope, but I remember those. It actually had 2 playfields, the main one was a single level like a regular machine, but the center was glass and underneath it was another smaller field with its own flippers. What made it so hard was that the main field sloped toward you as usual, but the lower field sloped away from you and the flippers hit the ball back toward you. What made it even more difficult was that if you hit the right holes, another ball would come out, and you could have 2 or 3 balls going at the same time on 2 different levels. It took a lot of skill to keep control of all of that at once. And, it was 50 cents to play instead of the usual 25. That sucked when you were broke like me and had to get the most out of your quarters.

After much googling, I found it.

WOW what a cool hobby! Pinball machines are GREAT, and yes, way better than video games to me. I wish I had the space and the money to have a couple here at home. My kids would love them even at their ages.

My wife has a slot machine but the key broke off in the lock and I keep forgetting to get a new lock for it, DOH!

We got an addition to our collection!

Rollergames!

It's a pretty gay theme but it's in good shape, got it cheap and seems like abit of fun.
Pics will come, as soon as my father comes home from the US.

And new videos will be up later on.
Got to borrow a video camera from my friend!

+ 1 bazillion-and-one !  !  !

The days of my youth were spent in pinball arcades that we referred to as "gamerooms."  Once a fixture in shopping malls across the country, a gameroom was made up of mostly pinball machines.  The TWO arcades we had in the Logan Valley Mall in Altoona - Fun City and Aladdin's Castle - had the side walls lined with pinball machines.

Yes, I am old enough to remember "1 play = $.25," and "5 balls per play."  I am old enough to remember the above mentioned "Monte Carlo" when new.  I am old enough to remember when you "tilted" the machine, you lost your entire game, not just the ball you were playing.

How many of us remember .  .  .

The extra large Hercules pinball machine.

How many of us remember .  .  .

The horizontal and vertical machine Bonzai Run.

Depends on what game you are playing!

5 balls per play on old games but in the 80's they changed it to 3 balls per play otherwise the ball time was so long because on never games you have more ball control and less "luck" in the game.
That is, if you are good you get to play alot even with 3 balls.
If you are bad, you get a second chance!

I like newer games alot more than the old EM games (Electro Mechanic).
And the SS games aren't very gold either (Solid State, 7 and 16 digit displays).
DMD games are the best, Dot matrix Display.
And then we have Pinball 2000.
Only made 2 games, Revenge From Mars and Star Wars Episode 1.
Then Bally/williams shut down.

We have abit of an updated game room, I can take pics if you guys want! Wink
