It gives us a lot of ideas of what each of us does from one day to another on our cars.

And also gives us ideas of what to do to our own cars...It's not to take the place of specific threads but a lot of us do things to our cars that have been talked about to death but we still want to say "HEY I DID THIS!"

Please post here if you just looked at it, washed it, added a new geegaw, pumped up the tires, painted it, etc etc...You get the idea. Nothing's too trivial to post here...Anything goes except NSFW items... Forum rules apply here of course!

I just got back from a shower that wasnt so nice.
I had to stand there for over 20 minutes rubbing rubbing, scraping and yet more rubbing to get all crap off me!
I put this goo underneath the car, dunno what it's called in english perhaps rust sealer? anyhow, This gooey crap that prevents the car from rusting.
I managed to complete above the tank, above the rear axle, wheel houses and some on the subframe then the rust sealer can got empty.
Gonna buy more tomorrow and put more on.
It's dirty I tell you! Smiley

Today Im going to repaint my trunk panel today.

Old picture during winter.
It may look alright in the pic, but up close its all cracked and nasty. I painted it with VHT nightshade like my lights, but it sucked lol

Going to just paint it with regular black metallic paint and a couple coats of clear.

Also I need to re aim my headlights so my car doesnt look retarded lol
Old picture but its still the same now:

I taped shut the sunroof of the 325e to stop it from leaking. I mopped up the trunk, and the back foot-wells and put in a mold/mildew inhibitor.

WTF? ive NEVER had a problem like this on a car...

Why do I get the feeling jakashh is going to take this thread into the mechaphelia route? I put some gas in the Sploder and drove it to work today, as for the Mustang, I pined for it to be on the road.

Today, I took the Jag to .  .  .  WORK !  Yes, I am finally employed again.  Since making the move to Athens, GA in January, I quickly found out that right now is a really, really bad time to get a job in a suffering auto industry.  It feels good to be working again .  .  .

So, in keeping with TDK's instructions, (i.e. "nothing's too trivial to post here"), that's it .  .  .

Drove the wheels off it at Thunderhill.  It was hot there and late in the day tires were getting greasy and bits of rubber where thumping around in my fender wells and bigger pieces were flying out the back.

Pics and vids soon.  In another thread.

Car wash tomorrow.

Checked my air filter. Might need to clean and oil it. Took like 30 minutes ffs. Stupid CAI.

Then I tried to install a dogbone mount, that didn't work out. Didn't know which way it went.
