Heck yeah, sounds mean!  butt rock  So what is your opinion on a great muffler setup for an LS1 (2004 C5) in terms of improving performance, not detracting from reliability, reasonable cost, and cooler than stock sound?

Dave, i would go with Borla. They are great, kinda pricey, but the exhaust is excellent sounding, and is made out of better metal than your standard exhaust, and it is also coated in anti corrosive material, inside and out, Borla doesnt mess around Wink

The ones im getting are 'adjustable' meaning there are four pipes coming out the end, and two go from the muffler, two come straight back, kinda like cut-outs, and you can reach under and switch from open pipes to exhaust.  butt rock

That reminds me of a cool video I remember seeing (perhaps on Streetfire) of a Chevy/Holden in the Middle East with a remote control bypass system that with the click of a button it would go from stock sound to badass racecar sound!  I searched for that video but can't seem to find it on YouTube or SF.net

Borla Stingers! And a decent X-Pipe set up will make a nice difference. Already getting that mod bug.

a quick update! last year ran a 10.98 on 7psi on the stock motor. 1.60" and only 7-8 degrees of max timing.
