thats what I wanted to know... I was like fuck there goes a $1200 transmission. thought I was going to need a new case but I found SFI bell housings that you can cut the old one off and it bolts up the pump.

That sucks about the bell housing but it may end up saving your foot down othe road. If you're already running mid 11's I can't wait to see where you go with it.

Yeah, money should be here tomorrow from the seller to re-in burst the cost of fixing the trans. This set up will carry me deep into the 9's eventually. Just want to get it together and make the combo work better then my last set up. Goals are to run 10's in the 13x mph range. Start out soft on the car and work my way up from there. Built motor will get pushed to make near 1,000whp when that time comes, I am looking to make 700ish whp on a stock bottom end. I appreciate the compliments. I also don't want to take away anything from others builds here. All of your cars as well are amazing in their own way. That's what I enjoy most about being a car guy, appreciating others passions and continue to progress in everything I do.  butt rock

trans was wrapped up in box and plastic wrapped, not the best way of packing a trans, no pallet either. The seller had difficulties shipping it due to having some trans fluid in it, it was in a Tupperware container and they wouldn't ship it. Not his fault, he did the best he could with what he had to work with.

Heck yeah, sounds mean!  butt rock  So what is your opinion on a great muffler setup for an LS1 (2004 C5) in terms of improving performance, not detracting from reliability, reasonable cost, and cooler than stock sound?
