very nice M1A! I hear those NM models are super nice.

And it's not an M1A scout, it's an M1A SOCOM II, but the tacticool factory stock with the rails has been removed and replaced with a standard wood stock. It looks super nice in this configuration, and I too prefer wood and steel on guns haha. Sure looks badass with the 16.25" barrel and wood stock.

Sweet. I thought the barrel looked kind of short to be a Scout, but I didnt think it was a SOCOM with the wood stock. I like how that looks. I'm not a fan of the SOCOM stocks. If I were to have a tactical version I would want a Troy Industries or Vltor tactical stock, but I want to keep my NM the way it is, especially since it is glass bedded. Although, it would be kind of sweet to get another M1A and mess around with tactical stocks for that.

Here is how my M1A looks now:

Bought a Stag Arms Model 8T a couple weeks before Christmas.  I've taken it out at least every other week since i got it. Love it. It's a piston operated AR15 with a diamondhead free float handguard and diamondhead flip up sights. I bought a leupold 2-7x28mm scope for it.
