I have been busy building another bike. This time I started with a 71 triumph TR6 (650 tiger)

I started with a pretty hammered on former competition bike, and built something cool

right now the bike is on the Lady Hump blog, and is in the final running for their build off competition for Born Free 5. I all ready had an invitation to the show as an associate builder, but the added support is nice

not bad for a bike that looked like this when I got it

I did all the fabrication and machine work, myself, including hand crafting the rear half of the frame

That is a bike I really enjoy looking at.

The orange/copper color is not a choice that would have stuck out to me, but it looks *great* on there!

Reminds me of the Imola Orange you could get on the last few years of the NSX.

Also, of course, your fabrication work looks great. Good luck on the build-off!

color is HOK candy orange copper. In some lights it looks like the color of a shiny penny, in other light it is more orange. . But I like working with candies, so most of my own bikes are done in some kind of candy finish

there is a funny story there. HOK sent me the wrong pigment first. I got glow in the dark green before I got my copper... Not kidding. Glow in the dark paint

and BTW..that is NOT a hard tail chopper.
