Theres a guy here that has an 03 with just exhaust and a hypertech tuner that put down 300 whp.

OH, and I removed the rear window louver this morning. Looks much better without it IMO.

Full exhaust, 4.56s, bolt-ons, DRs, LS1 butthurt

eh it would take more then that to hurt a LS1 with equal mods

4.56 gears in those 5 speeds would be lucky to hit a good mph on the top end because of the transmission gearing. 5th gear being over drive does carry the car through. 4.10's are even pretty rough on those 5 speeds for mph wise and you would have to shift more, which would be less time in the power band on each gear. Good for a dig set up though Wink

it would probably trap at almost 120mph. a bolt-on Mach 1 only traps like all of 107mph

It doesn't even require 300whp for LS1 butthurt. Especially when most of you think cutting 1.9 60's is ripping the pavement right out of the ground. Motor Trend got 13.2s with them, Car and Driver barley cracked 13s, just like the LS1. They typically dyno just a little over 300 after a catback/midpipe, so obviously they aren't pumping quite what a LS1 is.

thanks to the compression of the mach 1, it makes more power per PSI than the 03 04 cobra does. yes it has weak rods, yes it will make more power than a 03 04 cobra with the same stock s/c. yes heads and cams are the same, yes if its a manual then the crank is the same. compression ratio is 10.1:1 while the 03 04 cobra is 8.5:1.

If you have a 4-valve Cobra and want to drag race 4.56 is the gear to have hands down. A n/a Cobra with bolt ons and 4.56's will run low 12's on slicks with good driving

I didn't say 1.9's are pavement pounding, more like cutting 1.9's the car bogging out hard off the launch lol.

Heres a list of things it has different over the GT ( that i know of)

Rated at 305 HP, 320 ft.lbs of TQ.  10:1.1 Compression ratio.  Forged crank.

5 speed manual with 3.55 gears

Factory lowered with Tokico shocks/struts

Cobra brakes

Retro style seats and gauge cluster

Factory equipped with subframe connectors

Different style C pillar

Shaker hood

If the Mach has the same SFC's as the vert stangs do, then i'd get them changed Wink And do you have any side profile pics of the car?

I think the stock 3.55 gears compliment the 5 speed very well. I have only seen a hand full of the blue Mach 1's and Orange Mach 1's. And man they are both awesome looking. I'd rock a Mach 1, they are nice and comfortable. The shifter is the only thing I do not really like in them, not the shifting just how the shifter is.

Camaros and trans am's are almost non existent here.  there are a few kickin around, but not many.   The imports are my competition here.  Im definetly in no hurry to swap gears, I dont mind the 3.55's too much. But I do want to get an SCT programmer on it asap

Jak, I will go snap a couple more pics right now

Nice freakin' car Rob! That's the best way to buy one, I usually start by looking for low mileage one owner cars that individuals have for sale. Looks really good, and you don't see many of them around anymore. I see a Competition Orange one around here occasionally that looks pristine.

Thanks RBB!    For some reason in pictures the blue looks lighter than it really is.

Hypertech's are garbage I should know. I put down more whp with taking the hypertech off my car lol.

Why does it look higher in the front than the back?
