There was a cameraman standing along the fence where the camaro went through. This was the picture he took while he simultaneously loaded his pants.

It's not a real Camaro. The underbody is all tubed. The chassis used to be under the G6 GXP.R, before that it was under the GTO.R.

Elmo you do realise the point of this thread was the crash and not to start a debate on whether or not tubbed chassis race cars, in this case a camaro, is really a camaro.

Yes. Where in my post did I imply that I wanted to start a debate? Can't start a debate when what I posted was a fact. Every car in the Rolex Grand Am GT class, except for the Porsche 911s, are built upon a tubed chassis.

Wrong. The argument is over. You're just carrying it on.

Wtf? where is this agrument you speak off? the only thing here is you going off on a complete different tangent to the thread topic. There is and isn't going to be an argument here. Not from me anyways.

There is no argument because I ended it well before it even started.

Anyway, now it's time to move on.

The driver of the "race car" is totally fine with only recieving bumps and bruises. The other driver came out with a mild concusion and might be back in the car the next race. It's a good thing the Rolex Grand Am series has 2 week intervals between races.

That's a really scary situation there. The crew chief said the brakes went to the floor when he first got on them, but it looked like he was still in the throttle really late as well to me. I was sure it was going to be a stuck throttle.

said there was an issue with the brakes and that he pumped the brakes several times and got a little bit of pedal. could have happened to any of them.
