Ever heard of it? The 2009 coverage was aired on TSN today, looks like a blast. 2300km's of pure road racing across Newfoundland.

This was covered in the monthly BMW magazine "roundel". They wrote an article because of the number of 2002 bimmers that were entered in the last one. Looks like a perfect place for a 2002 because of the twisties.

There are a fair amount for sale considering their age. Those are one bimmer model that I would stay away from. They have large amount of notorious issues the worst of which is body cancer. Still, when totally restored, they are beautiful to look at and drive.

Mhmm, the one I looked at was really solid body wise and was $2000 but I just didn't want to get into an old BMW because I had no idea what parts were worth.

I watched this last year on speed and have always loved the format of a targa style rally. Especially using public roads!

The sheet metal around the shock towers are the worst. The exterior isnt the problem, its inside the car. Also, according to the roundel, parts a real bitch to come by. But, I cannot say for sure. That is just what I have read.

That E36 looks familiar. I wonder if that's the same M3 from the very old DTMPower videos.

So do I. Haven't watched them in a while. Now I have a craving for it. I wonder if the girlfriend feels like sitting down tonight to watch them lol.
