Just curious, especially after spending the last hour trying to get something to work..

eMail client: Gmail for my main email; Thunderbird for website and spam email addresses, also to back up my main Gmail account.
Web Browser: Google Chrome; its sleek and compact.
Media Player: Windows Media Player, and VLC
RSS loader: They ALL suck, but I use Google Reader (online).
FTP: FileZilla
HTML / Code editor: Notepad++
Notetaking: .. gold old fashioned pen and sticky notes on my desk  ;Wink

For email, I just use my google home page at home, my iPod for personal at work, and Lotus Notes at work

Browser: Firefox, if Chrome can get the plug-ins I like then I might switch to that

Media: iTunes

FTP/Term: PuTTY, WinSCP

Code Editor: Depends on the language; Eclipse, vim, emacs, <oXygen/>, xcode, netbeans

Documents: MS Office at work, iWork at home

On this machine I have a shitload of stuff I dont use. Basically I use email here, my browser to get to the forums and Oracle client to get to my server. I have several other machines one dedicated to an Oracle test database, nothing else. My wifes machine which has so much shit on it that when we di use it, I boot it up, go make dinner, have a nap, wash the cars, and then its ready to use. Its hers, she wont let me fix it. Fuck it.

At work I have several machines, my main one holds my connection to SQL server, and my Oracle environment. I have another that I surf the interwebz with. I have a remote connection to several other servers that hold my financials. Hows that for exciting?

I have 3 different emails, on hotmail, gmail and yahoo (Don't ask me why) but I don't use an email client. I do have Thunderbird installed.
I use Google Chrome for browsing and email checking.

Watching videos, I use Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

When I do projects like essays, I use Openoffice but I haven't wrote essays since senior year in HS. When I'm too lazy to load Openoffice, I use XP's Wordpad.

I use AVG for anti-virus. Ad-Aware, Spybot and Spywareblaster for spyware.

I have GIMP installed but like Openoffice, I don't like waiting for it to load so I use MS Paint.

For email, I just use my google home page at home, my iPod for personal at work, and Lotus Notes at work

Chrome does have extensions now.

Hrmm....

Windows 7 Professional 64
Open Office
Firefox

I have a 50MB line (6mbps down/1.2mbps up actual transfer) and a very impressive main machine with the "works".....

I have a literal fuckton of software I use.

Mac G4 running OpenSuSe for PPC
2 Dell precision 530 DUal Core servers
1 Dell Optiplex turned Media Center

Sooooo

That means I have probably more software running than I care to iterate. Cheesy

How about,.."I use pretty much everything". Hehehe...

I'll see how they develop, then I'll look into it.  So far it looks like their missing a few of the things I like.
