I can't say much about the $4,700,000 asking price.  But the detailed pics posted with the ad are quite impressive.

That is a stupid asking price.
I would buy a Maserati MC12, and the other top ten cars on my list, and still save money.

That price makes this look positively cheap .  .  .

Oh my !        This is the real deal .  .  .

This is an authentic factory prepared 289 Cobra "Dragonsnake."  Shelby built a handful of factory prepared drag cars, four of them being 289-powered, which makes sense considering that the MSRP was approaching $8,000, (A LOT in 1965).

This car, chassis number CSX2472, has been extensively documented over the years.

If I was looking for a "driver," I would own this car tomorrow if I could .  .  .

The exterior looks to be really nice !

The interior is beautiful !

Under the hood looks great !

The trunk is nice.

And most importantly, the undercarriage seems very intact !

I don't see any holes in the floor.

I give this dealer a lot of credit for the enormous number of very detailed photos presented with each car.  I could get lost in their site for hours !  Check out their website:  Dusty Old Cars .  .  .

It's beautiful !

I have a funny feeling that buying parts for this beauty could be a frightening experience .  .  .
